Also, the animation and the music rocked. The manga didn't give that wonderful finale in the first season. Or didn't make me cry like a baby when Haruka and Michiru died. Or didn't make me want to get a fuku and fight for love and justice when the girls fought with Ai no senshi playing in the background.

I'm not a Haruka/Michiru fan (het girl generally) but their dying scenes (both) were extremely well done and so very sad. ;;
And I always imagine I'm a senshi when I'm listening to Ai no Senshi...even though I'm 21 and supposed to be a serious college student!

I loved the pairing, though it was never my main one. And I cried like a moron when they died. The hands scene was so well done.
We can be serious colleges students and pretty soldiers! ;D
