My dirty fandom secret is that, call me a prude, but I can't stomach most visual porn. Oral and excessive semen are huge turn-offs for me, and if someone could explain the appeal, that'd be awesome. Semen is no more appealing than snot to me.

I have the same thing. Written porn I sometimes like. Graphic visual porn, no, never.

I'm asexual and emotionally underdeveloped generally, so that might be something to do with it. I think genitals of both genders look kinda icky. Well, they do. LOOK at them! But if it's written, I don't have to look at the messy bits, I can concentrate on what the characters are saying and doing.

ug yes i know. ive seen people call someone "immature" just because she didnt find the human body all so "beautiful". People can't even think of non-ugly words for ones reproductive organs.

but yea, i can tolerate written a lot more. sometimes i hate going to R/PG-13 movies just because that kinda stuff WILL show up and I WILL get uncomfortable.
