They were given a suggestion of how to make their situation a little more tolerable, and that's somehow wrong because suggestion =/= demand? Way to totally miss the point of a post.
And for the record NaruMitsu IS so highly accepted because there is nothing about it that says that it can't happen. PW is a first person RPG where you are Phoenix and it's based on your decisions in the game of what happens and what does not happen. Thus giving way to multiple interpretations.
If you've got to get so enraged over something that a majority of people agree upon, you can either contribute to prove it wrong, contribute to the part of fandom you like so maybe it'll be more well taken with the rest of fandom and you can find common ground with someone, or how about just GTFO.

Let me try to interpret. Case wasn't even talking about Phoenix Wright or anything, he took issue with Shahni's general verbiage. The way she worded it could be taken as contradictory of itself. At first saying live and let live and then saying you shouldn't/can't hate! But if the live and let live part is to be taken, then that means just letting the people hate who are gonna hate and not bothering to try and get them to stop or whatever. If that makes sense. It does in my mind, but I have a touch of the dumb today. Eh heh.
Yes, it was badly expressed on both sides. No, this wasn't about NaruMitsu at all. Yes, I'm laughing at everyone right now.
