I've asked myself "Why her and not me" for a million things. It's natural. You're jealous. Work hard, and be happy for the things you do do and be proud of yourself for what you are able to do. Keep working at it. Even if you don't get to the same level as she is, you will still be accomplished. Don't let not being her stop you from reaching your potential. If that makes sense.

But OP's life will hardly ever be as ~perfect~ as the life of a woman she described (for me, her life looks like a picture of perfectness and success, at least).

She shouldn't make her own life seem any less than it is just because it isn't the same as the other woman's. If that were the case, (people judging how good their lives are compared to other people's) then no one would have a good life because they would never have the same achievements as someone else.
