Too long to read it entirely, but about that second point - if you don't see a problem with a Chinese girl speaking in motherfucking ~wise ~ancient proverbs and pouring her ~tea in her ~kettle with utmost ~calm and ~dignity? You. Fucking. Suck.

I'm pretty sure the museum hired her to appeal to the touristy "ZOMG IT'S LIKE TOTALLY A CHINESE GIRL MAKING TEA HEHEHEHE!"

So while it might make you facepalm in real life, it can hardly be said that the show is not being realistic by showing that.

maybe. never seen the episode after all. did they show her frustration at being hired to be a stereotype? my guess is no.

I think you should watch the episode.

As for her not being frustrated: Considering she was fleeing for her life and her safety, I don't think she'd be too picky at what job she could get. The fact that it was in a nice museum AND she enjoyed her work so much that she risked dying just so she could continue doing it, I doubt she was frustrated with the job.
