Oh, no, I love them too. I mean, Remus/Sirius totally dominates my heart, but the two of them are so charmingly similar, and besides, he switched to being their Secret-Keeper because he thought Voldemort would "be sure to come after [him]" and not James. I mean, holy shit, that's some serious love there. Just imagining how Sirius felt when he went to their house that night...ugh. UGH, MY HEART

The Marauder era is so tragic. I'm with you in that I ship R/S, but I can see why the OP would ship James/Sirius. The whole best friends thing is always appealing.

Agreed—I'm R/S all the way, but I get J/S. I would LOVE a pre-series book, all about the Marauders... I think their story would be equally as interesting. But so much more tragic. I'm not sure I could handle it. :(
