One of my favorite things I've ever done was getting stoned and going to see Megamind in 3D. I was at about an [8] when it started and I could barely handle it when the title card breaks up and flies at the screen. Instant rollercoaster thrill ride.

Thanks for sharing, anon! Fandom can be so unfriendly to stoners, it's nice to know I'm not alone.

Had a similar experience with Avatar, I dosed before entering the theater and when I started coming up the 3D was suddenly IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE. That was the best thing about the experience (though that isn't saying much.)

The weirdest experience I've ever had was watching Hard Candy on 70mg of Ambien (don't try this at home, kids). Stayed blazed for a whole summer, watching Perfect Hair Forever and Everything is Terrible and Bill and Ted. Learned important life lessons. I could tell so many awesome stories, HOO WEE.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Man I will say, I *think* I did 90mg this one night where I. Well. I dragged my DDR pad out--I remember arrows EVERYWHERE and wondering why I kept failing but, wow, arrows--and I think that's the point at which I removed all of my clothes (save for my underwear). I... I still can't find those clothes. Anywhere. There was blackberry jam smeared all across my desk. When I came to, I'd re-subscribed to World of Warcraft after leaving for two months and was sitting naked on a low level character screaming uh. Walrus language keysmashing. Someone asked me what my problem was, and I just went, "I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS."

Anyway, basically, I started out with 30mg like an hour before I started the movie up. I was like IT'S NOT WORKING FFFFFFFfffff so I took another one (I have 10mg pills) when it started, and then another one about fifteen minutes later. By the time she drugs him and he's seeing shit, I'm definitely gone. After this, the movie just... I remember thinking, "She's saying a LOT of words. And she's really angry. Does... he really have a magical stash of porn somewhere............................... is it still pedo if you're into teenagers like i think there's a word for th........ wow i like her hairitssocute jasduigh ae///2` 9928499393]]]32]5 3iw ` bols" The whole thing was just SO SURREAL. I probably keysmashed at my best friend while speaking the language of the walrus in order to describe what had just happened but I'm positive she didn't understand any of it. I think back on... that movie and all I can really remember is a vision of Ellen Page's face up in my grill talking Very Sternly and Patrick Wilson looking hella strung out. I was so confused by the end that, basically, a bunch of very distorted strange still pictures exist in my mind that are probably out of order. On one hand, I'd be curious to watch it again and see how it measures up, but on the other I'm not sure I want to know. Basically, what I got out of it is that everybody has balls of steel and can jump off roofs like Batmans.

I'm not sure if I took the last two during the movie, but they disappeared that night sometime on a magic ride through space. (I got on WoW and terrorized people.)

EDIT: WAIT. THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELEVANT TO YOUR INTERESTS. Once I'd been without the internet for several days in the middle of summer--SHOCK, HORROR--and decided to take 20mg (back when I had no tolerance) in the middle of the day. I had this fucking amazing realization that The Garfield Show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTftBEssStc) synched up perfectly to Florence and the Machine's "Lungs" album and that Odie was just trying to sing to all of us. It was so beautiful and profound, I can't even. There was a walrus on the show and I legit happy flipped my shit. The moment eventually ended (after the episode was ofter lololo) and I did something on my computer. I don't remember doing it and I walked off, but when I came back, I'd made an ~interpretive Kirk/Spock music video to Rosetta - Itinerant/Ross 128 (it's 16 minutes long). The entire video is upside down and makes no sense at all. I'd upload it but it freezes every time I try to render it LOL COMPUTER.

Ambien is one hell of a drug.

A part of me is kind of curious about what it would be like like that. Some scenes could have been interesting in how they were percieved I guess.

Granted I've never been baked. Heck I've never even smoked a cigarette. I'm not curious enough to try so I was wondering what was the movie like OP when high? I mean you said you liked it but, more details maybe?

I'm not the OP of the secret, but I am the one who mentioned seeing it in 3D upthread, so I can offer my own two cents on what it's like to blaze up and cruise through Metro City.

First of all: I passionately hated Metro Man while watching high. I actually really love the character when I'm sober, but for some reason, every time I saw him I was moaning "WHAT A DOUCHE" and "THIS GUY IS A JERRRRRK." Especially when he makes his grand entrance and does that douchey little dance, haha. I guess I was just more keenly aware of his douchiness and less attuned to his softer side than I usually am.

All of the action scenes were outrageously exciting, but I was particularly thrilled by Hal breaking up Metro Tower, and especially when the end of it smashes into the other building. DEBRIS. CHAOS. DESTRUCTION. It was really, really intense and I was SO SCARED FOR MEGAMIND. Like audibly begging him to go faster and be safe.

The funny parts were funnier than they've ever been. I was in stitches during the scene when Roxanne finds the lair, especially when Megamind was switching back and forth between the Bernard disguise. "YOU'RE SO FIT AND STRANGELY CHARISMATIC!!" Hysterical. Not hysterical = when Megamind throws away all those delicious doughnuts. I was having mad cravings for the rest of the movie. My popcorn would not satisfy me!!

I also remember holding my breath when Megamind was falling at the end. Is he gonna make it?? How's he gonna get out of this?? I had already seen the movie and of course I already knew what would happen, but in that moment, as high as I was, I had no idea if he was going to be okay. That was actually really, really exciting.

Summation: everything was six times better. Except for Metro Man. XD
