Urgh, totally agreed anon. It has just gotten ridiculous, the amount of fics featuring just OCs. Even when it was at the point of one or two extra soldiers, that was somewhat acceptable, but there are now more fanon OCs than there are original cast members.

Theres not enough good fic for the main characters, it all seems focused on these stupid self-insert-y Mary-Sues.

Pfff maybe the fandom isn't as big as I thought it would be. I thought there would be a lot more people with guilty pleasures of watching shows aimed at tweens from Nickelodeon and Disney...

On a somewhat related note, I heard the song "Boyfriend" on the radio a few days ago. Surprised my brother and I to know that BTR is big enough to go on the radio or something. We talked about the differences between the Disney stars and the Nick. stars... I'm given the impression that Nick. takes care of their stars better than Disney (Demi Lovato's still in rehab, is she? I haven't looked things up.)

Oh, geez. Well, that's what this fandom does, man. I didn't get into it until S5 because I was too scared of the fandom, but then I tried it and realized it was awesome and the fandom had plenty of nice, normal people too...but even the normal ones are kinda insane. I include myself in that. O____o It's kinda hard to know where the line is, I guess.
