Lmao, you've obviously never even read any of my comments. I fucking adored the movie and I actually roleplay some of the characters. I don't even dislike the fandom, I just find it endearingly creepy sometimes, and other than commentary on FS threads, I completely stay out of the bigger circles.

But I'm really liking how the members of the fandom consistently seem to take offense at any complaints, even when... the comments aren't even malicious?

Well, okay, let me take back the "you dislike the movie" (even though that one sarcastic comment you left on a secret made me inclined to think you disliked it). But I have seen you comment negatively on the fandom in some comments.

Also, I normally don't comment that much to the people who dislike the fandom/movie, because, yeah, to each their own. But when I see people repeatedly say something along the lines of: "yeah, I feel uncomfortable/the fandom is weird/creepy/etc." then I'm starting to wonder why those people kind of stay involved in some way shape or form.

However, if this is a misunderstanding, then I apologize.

Welp, to be quite frank, the only reason I make comments along those line is because the majority of secrets related to Megamind are discussing that aspect of the fandom. If someone made a secret about anything other than the Megamind fandom's sexual habits, I'd respond with my opinion on that.

I'm involved in Megamind fandom [outside of the main LJ comm], so yeah, I'm going to comment on the secrets when I see them. If the secrets are all about similar things, yeah, the comments I make are probably going to be similar.

It's okay. And I'm sorry if I sound snippish, I just don't get the defensiveness. If people don't like the fact that I dislike aspects of the fandom and don't care to hide my opinion when it's brought up [which is frequently]... they can scroll on by? I'm hardly mean about it, and if I have acted mean to any individual it certainly wasn't intentional.

Toshi is right. holy crap all you ever do on Megamind secrets is show up and bitch. Backing it up with "I love the movie!" doesn't mean they don't make the rest of us scratch our heads with your weird "MUST COMPLAIN" goal.
