Also, this is me too. I'm generally regarded as unemotional, but damn it I don't bawl every time I watch this. The Iron Giant is so underrated.

How in the hell did you find this movie boring? You must have the attention span of a three year old or something.

Ironically, I think this film is a complete masterpiece, but I've never cried during that scene or got overly emotional watching it. (I guess because the Giant doesn't die, and I knew he had the ability to regenerate because it happened earlier in the movie.)

You know, as a kid I never cried for that movie. At least, I don't remember. And now that I'm thinking about it, I cry more as an adult at these movies...wtf. I didn't think I ever cried but F!S is making me realize I do. Just wtf.

That said, I love this movie. Especially the part where he goes, "DEAN," and Dean whimpers.

I remember when they used to have that 24-hour Thanksgiving marathon on Cartoon Network. Good times! I found a theatrical poster for it a few weeks ago at the movie theater where I work and I asked the boss if I could have it lol (did manage to get it!).

But yeah, I'm a wimp at mostly any animated movie and bawl like a little girl at that part pfft. I named my Golurk "Superman" on White, but no one has gotten the reference so far. =(
