oh yes, always. it seemed so unfitting that they were only in fourth grade. kids grow up fast in the big city and all, but they were just so multi-dimensional and smart for their age.

Totally. As fourth graders they were able to experience so much on their own at their age and influence so many people in fairly deep ways, while it was never like that for me at their age. But honestly, I have mad respect for the writers for making them SEEM so much older. I hate it when people make cartoons for JUST kids and not *everyone*, which usually ends up producing shows with flat and boring characters.
