TL;DR - sorry, guys, but I think it's awful. I'm glad someone likes it, though. :)
(Anonymous) 2011-03-22 02:16 am (UTC)(link)I wanted the main characters to all die less than a minute in for being so bloody stupid. Inconsistent and completely stupid. By the end of the episode, I wanted them to die slowly and painfully.
The Bulk and Spike scene felt forced and didn't connect to anything else (again, in the pilot, which is all I've seen). It was rehashing the same old joke that wasn't really funny the first hundred times around, and for no particularly good reason. (Although I really wanted Spike's mother to be Kimberly.)
I did rather like the villains, though. They were fun, and funny (puns! puns are great). Not enough, though, to make me want to see any more of the show. Which I regret, because I've liked several variations of it and of sentai for YEARS.
