I love Percy, but I highly doubt they'll include his big DH moment. They've had him in the background with the Ministry the past few films, but they haven't pointed it out at all. I doubt the people who didn't read the books even know who Percy is.

But personally, I never liked his DH moment. I feel like both Percy and his family had things to apologize for, so him just suddenly showing up with an apology and his family barely accepting it... it bugged me.

I love Percy (and should really finish my fic about him), but my favorite part about that whole scene is Lupin.

"Uhhhh. PICTURES! I have PICTURES (of the baby)!!!"

Yes, this! The rest of his family should have apologized for their mistakes too.

Fred and George should have apologized. Maybe Ginny for throwing things in his hair, although he was still being a douche. You don't see the other siblings really say anything about it and Ron is mad, but he doesn't do anything to Percy directly. His parents should not have apologized. At all.

I definitely agree. Hell, I'll go so far as to say that most of the blame rested with his Family. They ostracized him because he didn't get 100% on the (frankly somewhat problematic) Harry Potter worship train. That's actually pretty disturbing and he deserved better.

PERCY! He is my favourite too. I have such a huge crush on him... and I hate that he doesn't have a bigger part in the movies.

I love Percy. He was one of my favorite characters but I really disliked what happened in DH. He just shows up at the end and then Fred says "I forgive you" WTF??

So I wrote my own version of what I thought happened with Percy in DH

I will repeat the sentiment of the above commenters in saying "Yay, Percy Love!" He was a dick, but I could never get into the Weasley family as a whole. It was so cloyingly home-y, I could honestly see getting frustrated with it and wanting to leave. Plus I would hate having siblings like the twins, especially with how much shit they gave him.

I'm not into the movies anymore, but yeah, I highly doubt they'll give him a real conclusion. Crossed fingers, though.

I liked the Weasleys, but I always felt like they treated Percy like he wasn't very important compared to the rest of the kids. maybe if he'd got any respect at home he wouldn't have gone off with the Ministry, where he did get some.

percy is my favourite too. glad he got to be redeemed (even though his ministry grovelling was really funny)

I always had a kind of sympathy for Percy, I always thought maybe if his family ever bothered to act like they cared about his feelings or gave him any respect as a person, maybe he would've stayed with them instead of ditching them for the Ministry, the only place anyone did give him respect. In his family he was basically the least important and it was made pretty clear, too.

Percy is just so cool.

wow Percy appreciation!!! when I told someone that Percy was my fave HP character, I was told I was so weird and probably the only one in the world to think that. I'm not in the fandom so I was in no position to claim otherwise.

I really like Percy too. I don't think the his family respected his very real admiration of rules and being right (although I think for his dad, Percy seemed uncomfortably ambitious). It would be pretty hard being in a chill, kinda poor, family where everyone competes for attention. But they don't really care about many people in the books besides they Harry, Hermione, Dumbledore, and Snape, let's be honest.

I LOVE Percy Weasley. This secret made me totes smiley.

I hope we get to see him kick a little ass in DH pt.2...
