Yeah, it's atheists like that, that give the rest of us a bad name. I think that so long as you don't try to shove it down anyways throat, you can believe whatever you please. Just like my fellow atheists shouldn't try to convince people they're wrong in their beliefs. Talking about it calmly and rationally, as two people trying to understand each other, both with respect for the other? Awesome. But people who just yell back and forth at each other are obnoxious. I'm sorry you don't feel comfortable, op.
