When I first heard this, I had the exact same thought process as you... that this song was meant for someone else, and that no one would ever think of dedicating it to me even though I would love for it to happen.

But after hearing to the song a couple of times, especially when Pink sings that last line, "You are perfect to me" that's when it got to me and I started bawling. Cause I realized I shouldn't wait for people to say it to me, I need the courage to say it to myself, that I am perfect and that I shouldn't bring myself down so much.

It's not easy, trust me. I'm still struggling with it, cause I grew up with parents who criticize me over everything, and so I have a lot of self-hate. But take those small steps to make yourself feel better about yourself as suggested by "cynical" anon above. Cause you really deserve to believe that you are "perfect", flaws and all.
