We all make mistakes, dude. Live and learn. Use your mistakes to better yourself. Learn from this, but don't let it eat away at you.

In any case, you didn't deserve all the hate. It's unsurprising and inevitable that you got so much harsh flack (this is F!S after all *eyeroll*), but it was nevertheless counterproductive. Yes, you needed a firm correction...but not a burning at the stake. I hope my little essay didn't sting you too much...most of it was supposed to be a charged debate/tongue in cheek rant about the general topic, not a public flogging. I hope it didn't read as such. :/

Anyways...insert a "The More You Know" gif, delight in your newfound wisdom from this incident, and move on. :)
