Hey you were young and you learned, and it's really unlikely they'll find out, but even if they did and the old crew were there would they really care?

I did some really idiotic things for a while in fandom under this name and it was hardly a decade ago, not even three years ago really maybe- and I had no such excuse as really being that young at all at the time. I was newer to fandom than some for my age but still, not really an excuse.

But this has got me thinking about my own first forum experience. It was a Sailor Moon board too. Anyone remember MoonFeathers? I just tried to search for it, and nothing came up. I didn't think anything would show up, but I was still disappointed. =/

I know, right? I thought I didn't remember anyone in particular, but when I peeked into the site with the guest account, I realized I totally do remember some of them. :x

I already thought of the new user name thing, I just can't help but fear they'll... magically divine who I am, or something. Heh, IDK. Twelve-year-old me really came across as right between "stupid kid" and "serious personality disorder", so the paranoid part of me says that if they remember any troublemaker, they'll remember me.

It was the same thing for me, except Digimon, in 2004, when I was 9. I was dumb, and noobish for obvious reaons, and I made everyone there despise me.

I just looked for the website, and it says "under construction". Dammit, this secret's getting me in the mood for nostalgia!

You don't have to fear, as long as you hide. It shouldn't be too hard, unless you are a colossal jerk. But I don't think you are. You don't seem to be. You were young and of an age to not be right in behaviors. But now you're older and wiser and will be loved.

Sadly, you might not be loved, now that I think about it. Not all are meant to be loved. This is not to say that you are not worthy of love. You are! But they may not be the ones to love you -- if they're even still there. If they aren't, then you can find others who love you. I bet you have people in your life already who love you! So it's not so bad.

But even if they do not love you, they will not remember what you were back then for you are not that now. So take heart and do as you wish! :D

lol aww, this brings back memories of my own first forum. I think it was technically a Sailor Moon forum, too, even though no one ever really talked about Sailor Moon...It was called Moon Fantasy or something? anyway I really loved it. Even though I was one annoying little kid, everyone was always so nice to me. :)

It actually did die for awhile and then got rebooted a couple years ago. I mostly hung out with in the writer's forum and managed to avoid the widescale wank, but had some oopsies of my own... XD

I second other people saying that I doubt many people would either care or remember. Even if someone were to say, "Hey, weren't you kind of a troll ten years ago?" You can just point out that it was ten years ago and you've learned. Everybody starts wank at one time or another.
