From what I've seen, the Hetalia Fandom, at least the part that frequents the main comm, is really open when it comes to shipping. And I have never seen a ship war in Hetalia, especially when compared to other fandoms.

To believe... what? That USUK shippers aren't all made of sugar and spice and everything nice? There are shippers of every pairing who happen to be either awesome people or jerks. You can't seriously be saying that USUK shippers in their entirety are nothing but sunshine and puppies. That's like saying everyone who lives in a certain town is perfect.

Your ship and the people who ship it aren't all sunshine and rainbows. They don't hold hands and sing happy, uplifting songs around a flag that melds the Union Jack with the Stars and Stripes a-la the Whos around the Christmas tree in a The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

I'm not saying all shippers are horrible people who bash all pairings that aren't their OTP. I'm not even saying that most shippers are like this. But you do have those particular individuals who are just bat shit crazy and make the rest of the shipdom look bad. Every pairing has these people.
