We all get hung up on people who aren't worth it; people who we build up in our minds because some kind of stupid chemistry is attracting us to them desperately.
The ultimate victory is always when you realize that you can find someone else. Someone much better.
Besides, if you're trying to impress and reach this guy so desperately and he's STILL not paying attention, it's obviously that he's either A) just not that into you or B) keeping you on the hook as a fallback. FUCK that guy. You don't need a boy like that, or even a friend like that.
I know it's hard, but it's probably time to bail.
