I think it depends on the situation, tbh. There was a guy who had a crush on me who just wouldn't agree with my interpretation of a movie we watched together, and would go on and on and on about how his interpretation was right and how silly mine was. I'd forget about it for weeks, then all of a sudden he'd bring it up again just to debate with me.

It got to the point where I just stopped hanging out with him. I just couldn't be bothered with it anymore. Sorry guy, but a relationship isn't going to form between us if you keep on bringing up why you think my opinions are stupid.

I think that's a little different than just disagreeing though. That's being an ass and not letting something trivial go :/
