It's hard to tell if lack of feedback is coming from bad writing, or just the fact that your fandom/pairing isn't all that popular so nobody's reading it.
Also, if you really dislike popular pairings, my suggestion would be to write a pairing that's so "huh?" that it'll have people clicking on it just to see how the pairing's done, because it's so "what even?" that they can't resist. I've gotten into so many pairings that way, because I was so intrigued by the concept of those two characters being together that I decided to read their fic.
