Me too, man, only I'm not quite 22.

Also am I the only one bewildered by the people who are bewildered by the idea of being married/having kids "that early"? I mean, granted, I come from a small town, so that could be it, but... =/

I live in a small town and lots of people get married that young, but also most of them don't go to college or get further education. They go straight from high school to working on the family farm, though some women get a 1 or 2 year diploma so they can get a job in town. Overall in my country the age of first marriage is 28. Some of them stay married, some of them are divorced within a few years.

Yes, it is bewildering and it suggests a seriously insular worldview and profound poverty of ambition. And, I'm guessing, crude and simplistic fundamentalist religious beliefs.

Or you know, they know what exactly they want out of life.

Some folks want nothing more than to be a mechanic, so they become mechanics. If you live, breathe, and desire nothing more than to be a doctor, be a doctor. If it's cleaning you want, then be a cleaner of some kind.

There's no shame in wanting to continue the family farm, if that's what you want to do. After all, my food addiction is one I don't want to break.
