What gets me is this whole "I try really hard to find the good in everything" bullshit you're sprouting. No you don't, honey, you just wanted to get your hate on hard on, and that sentence was added for effect. Let's not pretend that your hate is somehow more rational because you tried really hard and that your opinion has some actual merit.

While I agree generally, I never get annoyed at those tacked-on qualifier statements at F!S. If you don't put them on, techno will go "LOLOL HUUUURRRP WHY IS THIS A SECRET???" and put it in the failbar.

Yeah, but this fandom is known for it's rabidness and back in the day had a shitton of secrets associated with it. Techno would understand that. Also, putting that qualifier doesn't make it more of a secret since it doesn't have anything to do with anything besides the OP own's "intelligence." My point still stands.

I think you're vastly overestimating Techno. I used to have a whole list of secrets of mine that were put in the failbar because I didn't have something like "I KNOW THIS IS WRONG BUT..." or "NORMALLY I TRY NOT TO JUDGE BUT..."

One time I called an entire fandom pedos and he said it wasn't a secret. That's the reason why "S!B" is used so often in this community. If only I had included "Secret because calling people pedophiles is not socially acceptable"
