Isn't Jewish, her accent isn't Hebrew. She's a Chilean Catholic. Cute though.

Natalie Portman is a better bet, and I'll bet she can actually speak Hebrew.

The character (Ziva David) is from Israel.

I've worked with people from Israel. CdP doesn't pull it off. But hey, if you like her as Ziva, I guess that's all that matters.

Wrong accents make me crazy, e.g. Nicole Kidman in Cold Mountain.

But Cameron Diaz in Gangs of New York has a perfect accent~!

I know she's not a good representation of a Jewish or Israeli person, but if she's inspiring interest for the OP to at least learn what's correct, I don't mind much.

Cool. Thanks for the vid. The woman and I are NCIS fans, and I do like CdP, but she just fails at selling Jewish-ness. Some of my best friends, and all that.

My greatest sadness in life is that I married an Israeli who pretty much speaks in Ivrit around everyone but me. And he spent many years growing up in the States, so his English isn't even accented.

I'm pretty sure Portman was born in Israel
