OP, I used to write and read fanfic while my RL friends went out, dated, and had what they called a life--and I was 29. I stayed in, while my whole family urged me to leave the bloody house, because (this is a direct quote) I wouldn't find a guy sitting on the couch all day.

And then one of my fanfic readers turned out to be a guy. A smart, cute guy, with a sense of humor. He lived two countries away, but was set on meeting me. So we met. And now we're happily married. And I still write fanfic.

So, guess what? Spending time scrapbooking for your fandoms is what you want to do right now, but life still happens, and if you do things you like, it may turn out even better than if you did what you think you should be doing, or what people expect you to do.

I hope I made some sense here.

Also, to me 23 is too young to be married and have kids. I think it's a cultural thing here. I know it's what many people wanna do, and more power to them, but I loved being carefree at 23.
