Not trolling-for-wank, more trolling in the sense of posting-a-fake-secret-and-hoping-for-amusing-responses. I don't know, the combination of "IM SO SMRT" and the typos just seemed a bit... off, to me. But you're right, their first language might not be English, in which case I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions.

It was actually the OP's choice of using a generic cute anime girl to portray Hermione that had me thinking troll. Might as well have used a dollmaker and then slapped the name Hermione over it, for the same amount of ICness.

It's a generic cute anime girl. She's wearing a Gryffindor uniform and carrying a book, but that doesn't make her any less generic.

If she's film!Hermione, the hair colour's wrong and so is the face shape. If she's book!Hermione, where's the bushy hair and oversized teeth?

This is a sore point to me. I hate people drawing Hermione as conventionally pretty, because she's not, and that's part of what makes her so awesome in my eyes. She's one of those characters in children's media who (unselfconsciously) stand as evidence that women don't have to be beautiful or girly to be fucking awesome. And to me, and a lot of people I know, she was inspiration because of that as much as because of, well, her general awesomeness. /rant
