I think I get what you mean. Like, I get that my friends and peers all think I'm weird ("but in the nicest possible way!"), but I don't get why.

I don't want to stop being me, but I am really not ok with this.

eh heh, everyone thinks the same of me, but I just decided that I don't care. As long as the people I care about return the caring, I don't care if they think I'm strange. Being "weird" isn't a bad thing, it just means you have your own way of doing things and as long as it works for you, that's great. be proud of your uniqueness ^^

The only problem comes in when people decide that being considered comical or ludicrous is too sad a fate to be borne, so they flatten their personalities out T.T The world needs more people who don't care if others think they're strange
