I don't read het, but I've been told that Ron gets bashed a lot in Draco/Hermione and Harry/Hermione fics. I mean, I think there's some misogyny in some parts of the fandom, but I'd say that bashing the character who stands in the way of their pairing, male or female, is pretty usual.

In my old fandom, it was definitely the canon male love interest who got bashed in favor of the rival male to pair with the only female. Still, there is misogyny in fandom - problem is, it's not exclusively in slash, it's not always in slash. I think it's just slash-bashers who make these particular flavor of secrets all the time.
