Unless it is negatively and seriously impacting your grades, i.e. you are going to fail out of school, there is nothing wrong with going out with your friends to the bars instead of studying. Test tomorrow that you need to pass? Yeah, make like Hermione and spend the night with a pile of books. Saturday night? Go have fun!

I personally hung out with a hell of a lot of Hermiones in high school, but not everybody can live with just studying all the time. You need to have a life outside of school, otherwise you will go insane from stress. All the people I know who were doing well in school also made time for hanging out, watching movies, and partying with the rest of us. You aren't being lazy.

Sorry if this is incoherent, this was my study break and half of my brain is currently functioning in a foreign language.
