Well I don't know for you, but I'd much rather have an overweight (protip: you can have fat without having morbidly obese) girl kicking ass and being well-developed and heck, even having her weight as a bit of a shortcoming than an underdeveloped one waiting for her prince to save her and unable to do anything in the story on her own. Just sayin'

I feel like you're just ignoring Tiana, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel, and Mulan (who technically isn't a princess but w.e), who are pretty proactive and do a bit of ass-kicking of their own in their stories.

So yea, you're ignoring MOST of the princesses.

Oh my bad, I worded this all wrong. Nope, not ignoring them! It's just that I regard character development as more important than body type. Therefore, yeah, I wouldn't give a damn (as in: it won't bother me) if an awesome disney princess happens to be fat.

I always thought Fiona from Shrek sort of fell into this catagory. Not stick thin but not obese either. And I liked her as a character more than most Disney princesses, even if the Shrek franchise was bled to death a bit.

Shrek was also Dreamworks, who tend to have better character design anyway, imo.

I love ogre!Fiona, because she's shaped like an ogre.
