People have found weird sources of shipping everywhere. Just look at Yuletide and all its advertisement fics, or something like those anthro-fic LJ comms where people ship hydrogen/oxygen/hydrogen threesomes. It just depends on finding an interesting way of thinking about an interaction.

The fact that it's a mainstream idea in Christianity that only Christians get into heaven -- that your friend could watch Buffy and think she deserves to go to hell because she isn't Christian -- is why I hate this religion. The idea that humans are inherently flawed, and, specifically, that these flaws are so unacceptable by our creator that we're doomed to eternal suffering unless we accept Jesus? The idea that sins can only be rectified through suffering and blood? The idea that Jesus a) had to be tortured to accept the sins of humanity, and then b) is petty enough that it only counts for you if you accept him as your savior? What a barbaric, degrading, oppressive, blood religion.
