Every single princess has pretty much same body type, though, and the same tiny waist. Look at the image in this secret -- do you really see any variety in the body types of these characters? At least Aladdin and Hercules didn't have the same exact body.

So I don't think it's just caricature when it comes to the body types of Disney princesses.

Yeah, it's called a line, when the princesses are together, they're going to look like they go together and to come degree that's a design consideration... If you look at the movies rather than the Princess line there's more variation.

And seriously are you implying Meg and Jasmine had the exact same body?

I'm not really sure why you brought Megara up considering that she's not in the image and she's not an official Disney princess, but even those two characters have similar body types, though Megara has a longer waist (and is perhaps taller -- I would known since I've never seen both characters together in an official Disney illustration before).

The point here is that all Disney princesses are small and skinny and dainty, and even though Aladdin and Hercules have vastly different art styles and the stylization and caricature of both films is completely different, both women have essentially the same measurements, even the same bust size

Here are some screenshots of Disney princesses from different films for comparison. Note that they all have the same size waist and hips, despite the differences in stylization (the one exception being Snow White (http://www.platformfestival.com/schedule/IMAGES/Snow_White_Disney.jpg), who is a bit rounder)

I'm not really seeing a huge difference in the measurements, though the differences in design as far as clothing, facial structure, etc. are very different -- they all have essentially the exact same bust, waist and hip sizes

Because you were saying that at least Aladdin and Hercules have different body shapes as if their ladies didn't!

Are you blind? Look at the difference between Aurora and Tiana! (If anything Tiana has more of a Snow White body), and Pocahontas is different than all three! (Cindy isn't working)
