Maybe this is a stupid question, but...

MtF or FtM*?


*I know that FtM would technically be a 'prince', but at the same time, they'd probably be marketed as a princess at first....

your comment is kind of offensive but i hope it's just because you're confused

a trans man would be a prince, because prince is typically gendered male and trans men are male
a trans woman would be a princess, because princess is typically gendered female and trans women are female


unless you were asking what the op of the comment preferred

I was asking if the OP would prefer a MtF princess, or a FtM "princess". ^_^

That is, would the OP prefer a story where the prince was biologically male, but trans MtF, or would the OP prefer a "princess" would grew up biologically female, but knew that they were actually male.

I'm sorry you were offended! My point was that, it being Disney, Disney would probably focus on the fact that both an FtM or an MtF lead role would be considered a "princess" so that they could be added to the ~~~~~Disney Princess Collection~~~~~, even if an FtM lead role would be a prince. ^_^

okay, thanks, that clears it up a lot. but you might consider using trans man and trans woman instead of ftm and mtf; while some people identify with those terms they can also be considered offensive since they emphasize the person in question's assigned sex rather than actual gender.
