General comments:

can't you keep the good secrets til the weekend seeing as they are the only posts at a decent time? Put the dross out in the mid week death slots.

I'd hardly call ~1,500 comments/post "dead."

Tell me what a "good secret" is after getting everybody to agree on a definition, and I'll think about it!

you are right, since there is no definition, and eats up so much of your time, you should just update on weekends since they are the only days you can put out at decent times. Scrap the mon-fri postings and go weekends only.

Nah, I don't think that'd work. Most people would prefer it daily, I think.

Besides, can you imagine posts with 200 secrets each? Or 200 secrets in one day?

I don't like the idea of weekends-only, but maybe do smaller posts on weekdays and larger ones on weekends?

in fact I keep running into the opposite problem, where the posts FULL of secrets about fandoms I'm in seem to happen on weekends/the weekdays when I go out, so I only find it hours-to-a-day later when all the conversation's died.

Awww, is butthurt anon sulking? Mid-week seems to be fairing just fine, if this last week was any indication. Try waiting a bit and seeing if the new time slots has any ACTUAL negative effect before being snide, will ya?

I know it isn't fandom, but you should post the N!F number 2 anyway. It needs to be said. Quit whinging about triggers and deal with your issues instead of hiding from them and expecting everyone else to hide things for you as well.

What the fuck? Did you have any purpose here other than to insult someone? DIAF. OP was right.

Is anyone else having a weird glitch with the comments? I'll click on something like yesterday's post, and it will say something like "1534 comments." But when I go to the second page of comments, it will say "127 comments" and most of the threads will be empty. Clicking back to page one of the comments gets me "666 comments"!

Also, a lot of the reply threads will say "replies frozen." Clicking on "show thread" doesn't help.

This has happened to me before, but it fixed itself for a couple of posts and is now back again.

Was just about to post this too. This has been happening for weeks and it's a pain in the ass since I can read barely any of the second-page comments. Is LJ fucking up or is it something on my end?

But the replies frozen is normal if you're talking about the stuff after the N!S/NF/etc reply post. It's so all the linkspam crud etc goes on the 3rd page so nobody has to see if it they don't want to. If you're not talking about that, welp, never seen that before...

Yeah, it's happening to me too. I think it has something to do with the denial-of-service attacks on LJ? (Are they still going on?)

Are you logged out? I've had this issue sometimes, but only when I was logged out, so logging in might be a temporary fix.
