Personally, I just want Linneus to stop being a doormat and more of Claret and Mercutio. Rory/Reed do nothing for me and I would be more than happy if Claret and Mercutio would be made main characters instead, but without fixed love interests.

Simon actually gets to be rather sexy in the second season, doesn't he? I can see what you mean though, I think he is quite endearing as a shy, awkward, freak-ish little thing, too. Besides, I know nothing about the actor, though he does seem like a cool guy from the bloopers I've watched ^^
