Most kink and porn is not realistic anyhow. And you don't have to experience something to write it accurately.

I agree. And sexual experience does not equal writing good porn either.

And it's NEVER EVER realistic. You never get a moment when a character is spitting out another character's pubic hair, there's never a moment where a character gags giving a blowjob...that's why it's a fantasy piece... :)

I've actually read a fair number of fic where they mention someone gagging. It didn't linger on the moment, but it was usually about someone being inexperienced and the realism usually doesn't bother me in that case.

I've the latter, though not the former. To be honest, I don't enjoy smut/intimate scenes unless they include some form of realistic awkwardness. Perfect fantasy porn just makes me feel weird.
