That book was fucking garbage, I don't get why it's as popular as it is. I love Neil Gaiman, but goddamn, just... fucking terrible. The characters were all lackluster, and I remember the ending being really anti-climatic as well. If the book had just been about the angel and the demon pals-ing it up everywhere, the book would have been far more interesting. Or if there was basically no inclusing of those annoying kids until whoever showed up to tell Adam he was the anti-christ. As I understand it, Pratchett wrote the parts with the kids, so Good Omens basically made sure that I will never ever try anything by Terry Pratchett.
