That's a great idea, and I can see how that would work really well in the fandom I am pretty positive you're referring to. Just working out what they'd all say in order to work the speech quirks in would help as a memory exercise.

Haha, maybe I should try this! My own secret study technique: I name all my Pokemon words that I need to memorize for classes. It really helps, although it can be weird to explain why I have a Bidoof named Sarracenia or a Voltorb called Quercus.

I was flipping through notes for my Game Theory class and found I'd written "THIS IS COMPLIC8ED" under one batch of notes without realizing it, but that's the extent to which I've used this.

I am having difficultly picturing this. Like, just

Character B: Oh, well actually *infodump*?

It works because writing it in character would force the OP to completely rephrase pretty much everything, which is a really good way to make sure you actually understand what you're reading. Plus, most things become a fair bit memorable once you've imagined how your favourite characters would say them.

That's awesome, OP! If I were still studying, I'd start doing this too - filtering the info through their quirks sounds like a really good way to test how well you understand it.
