...and if it's the same character I will be rather surprised but I will demand to speak with you directly.
Pretty much everything you just said goes on with me, save for the past sexual abuse (there was emotional and verbal abuse though, and hell, that shit just continues). And I latched onto a character with a terribly traumatic backstory because I see a lot of myself in there, not just his past but his present as well. And it's...really helping me to get through a lot of what happened to me to think that there might just be hope for him.
