Are you from a country outside of Europe? Because I've visited more countries here than that, and I'd never think people would think I was bragging if I talked about it! Though maybe Swedish people do travel a lot compared to other countries? OTOH, I meet Germans everywhere, including in Japan, haha.

Haha, okay, let's see. For me, it's England, Ireland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Romania. It's really not that uncommon to pass through or spend time in a shitton of European countries when you're from one yourself. Outside Europe my visits have been limited to north Africa, though.

I come from a wealthy family and my parents allow me to travel whenever I please (school breaks, etc). I've gotten to see a lot of the world. Do I feel guilty or ashamed about this? No. Neither should you. Enjoy your good fortune, OP :)

I'm so jealous. I'm one of those Americans in the higher-up comments who's never done much traveling at all. Up until I was about 18, if anyone was traveling to another country seemed like the same thing as someone going on a magical space flight or something. It was never anything I aspired to because it seemed to unachievable. Now that I'm a bit older and I've met people from other countries, I'd really love to visit a lot of the countries in this secret, but it's never going to happen. Even if I ever have that much money to spend on myself, I could not justify spending thousands of dollars on a trip for myself when I could donate the money somewhere and read books/news and watch shows about other countries instead. I know that sounds stupid, but this is a legitimate hang-up for me, and that's why I know I will never leave the US again (I've been to Canada twice.)

I feel like that a little too. Although I do also get the "daddy's girl" thing since I was following my father to work most of those times (frequent flier miles are the best).

A lot of people in this fandom are pretty well traveled, so you should be fine so long as you're not a jerk about it (and you don't sound that way).
