...So you got his eyesight? So... why was that a problem? That's why he has, y'know, the glasses. We visually impaired people don't wear 'em just for kicks.

Because it was a dream.

I'm super-nearsighted, and I often have dreams in which my contacts aren't working or things are blurry for some other reason. So actually, it totally makes sense to me that in a dream, if you got his eyesight you wouldn't get the benefits of correction. I guess you don't have dreams like that?

But yeah, OP, if I was dreaming about Midgar with my contacts missing I'd be really sad too XD;

It made sense to me. I do't do it so much now, but I remember before I got my glasses I used to have dreams where I had really bad eyesight ALL THE TIME.
