What in fandom interests me: Characters. It always comes back to the characters for me. Without strong characters, I lose interest very quickly.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Bashing, misrepresentation, vitriol and people just plain being nasty to each other. So what if you don't agree with something someone else says or beleieves? There's no need to be rude about it. Life is hard enough without making it harder in an arena we're supposed to use for FUN.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Reading, walking, dogs - sometimes all three if I can get hold of a good audiobook.
My LJ Contains Mostly: Ramblings, fanfic, recs and interesting random things I want to share with other people.

Still all about the characters for me. If it's well-written and believable, and isn't just a random excuse to throw two attractive male characters at each other and strip them of their personalities as well as their clothes, then I'm all for it. Some of my favourite fics in several fandoms are yaoi (or in some cases just shoenen-ai) and I've written some myself, I'm just not very good at it.

I do like BB (although over in the UK it was called Batman of the Future, so it took me a while to make the connection there). I've written crossover fic between it (specifically the RotJ movie) and Teen Titans and I love how dark and twisty-turny it got during its run. Plus it featured Cree Summer's voice, which instantly wins it cool points.
