(Anonymous) 2011-05-04 12:13 am (UTC)(link)OP, nothing is ending. The only reason you feel like something is coming to a close is because you're letting yourself do so. The books will always be there. The movies will always be there. The characters and emotions will always be with you. And if you're talking about fandom, it may have slowed, but if the actual conclusion of canon in 2007 didn't kill it, the end of the movies (which aren't even a factor for many fans) aren't going to do so either.
I am going to be a little sad too when the last movie comes out, but I know that nothing is really going to change. A good book has no ending.
