+1. OP, did you drop a line or two? Just listening to the theme song ruined your whole day, even though you like the show? You watch and like the show but also what did you see in it and you're jaded? Listening to the theme song at work made your realize how jaded you are?

Considering that it took me five years to finally get a job working in an office like I've always wanted (and even then I'm a temp and I'm getting paid less than I was in my previous line of work), I really can't sympathize with you. And I fucking LOVVVVE tedious, boring clerical work.

Also, that show is fucking horrible. (The US version, I've only seen a few episodes of the British series)

I'm confused...the show sucks because thinking about it doesn't make your job any better? You hate the show because your real life office is not full of similar hijinks? What is it?

Considering that the theme song is about 15 seconds long, I could see how listening to it all day could ruin your day. :-P

I hate office work. My call centre stuff right now is admittedly no more satisfying, but I really, really, hated being an admin assistant. The concept of what I was doing was probably what bothered me more than the actual work (ie: my boss' job, only streamlined). Also minutes. I don't like minutes.

Stuffy maddening work, and it bugs me it took longer than it should have that it's definitely not a job I would want. Here's hoping you find something that gets you through your day, or a better/more inspiring job in the future.
