I find it hilarious that people got in a fuss about it. I wasn't in the fandom before the manga came out, but I'm sure that people were getting on find with the idea of a self-named character before then; it shouldn't be so hard to grasp now. Casual fans probably don't even know the Souji name.

Anyway, I'll always think the best name for him was Charlie Tunoku.

alternatively, you could try doing some original work instead and taking classes to improve. you won't get much recognition for it unless you're extremely lucky, but taking a break from doing fandom work and focusing on other things may help you find something much more fulfilling.

Second- yes! This! I'm sick off all the Stephan's perfect crap. He's not. He's incredibly flawed. Actually he's more interesting because he's flawed- and when he's being a little crazy. Both brothers have issues- but IMO, at least Damon isn't holier than thou.

Where I live (America, Maryland) there used to be a semi-anonymous message board to gossip about people at our schools. It actually got taken offline a little while ago after a slight shitstorm (it was called PeoplesDirt, though I doubt you've heard of it). So... it happens, sort of. Though the anonymous secret posting was about other people, not the posters themselves (usually).
