Sure, if that's what you want to believe. If you will observe how I act in the actual comms outside of this wonderful little cesspool of drama, I'm actually a super chill mod. I'm not the one that bans people or goes looking for drama. I just tidy up posts and whatnot and ask people to put things under the cut. Sometimes I try to get more movement in the comm (like in mike_tina and santana_lopez). I don't have time to go looking in other people's journals, I barely have time to update my own.

This wanky post just happened to appear when I had a slice of free time in between the myriads of real life things I have to do, and it's been fun messing with/arguing/bantering with all these super fun anons. No skin off my back if you think I'm a bitch/sociopath/bad moderator/whatever.

I don't get why people are so up in arms about getting banned from communities. So what if you get banned? It's not keeping you from talking about what you love. If other people agree with you and you create your own comm, they will come and join you. Nothing to lose, really.

It's not an issue of you having free time or not. I guess it IS an issue of you finding it "fun" to be a bitch.

See, you say it's no skin, but if you don't care what your community members think, then why say "if you've a problem and come to us and talk about it openly, honestly, tactfully, etc"? I mean, those things contradict themselves.

My thing isn't about the being banned. It's about the kind of person that it takes to ban someone for disagreeing with them.

If you didn't care what people thought, you wouldn't keep responding. That you do, implies that you do. You can say things like free time, fun, etc all that you like, but if your behavior doesn't follow what you're saying, it just all reads as delusion.

Because I do care what my community members think. And I'm always nice to anyone who comes to me with their concerns. What I -don't- care about is what they think about me. Difference.

I'll keep responding as long as people respond to me. Don't see how that makes me delusional, though.

It's not really much of a difference when your behavior here gives the impression that you will not always be nice to anyone who comes to you with their concerns. I mean, what we're discussing them thinking about you is specifically that you, and Taz, will NOT allow that sort of honesty.

It's delusional to keep insisting that you don't care, and then keep responding. People who wouldn't care wouldn't respond because who cares what a bunch of anons here say, they can eat shit and die, ammirite?

Is this comm really such a big deal that people would actively come here first if they think something's wrong with M_H, instead of coming to one of us? How many people actually come to fandomsecrets anyway? Is this like a normal fandom place to come to? I've only come here when I'm linked by a friend to a post that's relevant.

I mean, this particular thread has been part of a long conversation, but I doubt there are actually many anons participating.

If it would make you feel better, I could sign my comments with something. I'm not anon because I'm interested in sockpuppetry. I'm anon because I honestly believe what I'm trying to tell you about how this here makes people feel about the comm there.

I'm not sure that it's a case of the comm being a dig deal, but how people treat one another. And sure, how people treat one another is a big deal. I mean, people can make excuses like "this is just fandom!", or "this is just the internet, why so srz!?", but there are people behind both of our keyboards/monitors.

This is all me talking right now.
And that's cool, because I do believe that you care. And that makes me respect you more, and have more hope. Sadly, I can't say the same for Lori, and that she's not responding, and that she doesn't give a shit, is just another aspect of that. "Not giving a shit" isn't something someone should be lauded for.
