From about age 17 to age 19 I was involved in Beatles fandom on xanga. It was a pretty low-key fandom, but I loved squeeing over my favorite sings and sharing icons and talking about which Beatles was cutest with my fandom friends. What didn't tell any of them was that at this time, I was in a very deep depression and the Beatles fandom was the only thing in my life that actually brought me any happiness. I've since kicked the depression, and I left both xanga and the fandom a long time ago, but I think about my old fandom friends sometimes when I listen to the Beatles.
