How is human suffering somehow 'worse' when there's a racial element attached or when it's connected to a real historical event? A master raping his slave and a free man raping a free woman are both still rape.

A rape kink and, say, a Nazi torture kink both involve the reader getting off on seeing one person inflict suffering on another. The fact that one has racial/social/historical import attached to it doesn't change that.

(and don't think i'm another one of those "if you have a rape kink you are evil" anons! it's totally natural to get off on fictional(<--this part is super important) suffering)

'S funny; I was just talking to my roommate about this the other day...'cause I'd just posted some dubcon underage molestation fic (which I enjoyed writing very much, thank you) and then, within the same 6 hours, was disgusted to read a news article about Catholic monks molesting boys in Minneapolis (which is extremely NOT OKAY).

Fantasy =/= reality.
I write a lot of terrible stuff: rape, violence, molestation, assault, necrophilia, pedophilia, incest, etc. And, as I mentioned above, I enjoy writing it. This does not mean that I want to screw corpses, beat and rape people, or molest children; the very idea of doing any of those things in real life horrifies me. Or of them even just happening to others in general. I don't want that. No sane person wants that, regardless of what they write.

The reason kinks like rape or shota are okay are because they're generalized. They happen to real people, but people with those kinks aren't focusing on a specific real occurrence.

Fapping to a historical tragedy like the Holocaust or the rape of plantation slaves? That is fucked up. That is wrong. That is people taking a specific experience very heavily affected by power and privilege and appropriating it for their sexual satisfaction, and that kind of oppressive shit is not okay.
