I think that's why I like her. I like females who can get the job done on their own. It fits with Rose, Martha, and Donna personality wise (and slightly Amy in that she can't really get anywhere without him, nor does she really understand) that they have to have the Doctor come along quite quickly to help them out. River, clearly, can just do whatever she wants.

So, ignoring my rambling, I agree with you. :D

I think the backwards thing confuses too many people. My bf and I have to consistently discuss this...usually after every episode.

I think the backwards thing confuses too many people. My bf and I have to consistently discuss this...usually after every episode.

I've recently gotten into Doctor Who and now have pulled my sister into it as well. And the meeting in reverse order thing has got us asking so many questions and trying to find ways that they can meet in the right order. We just end up having deep discussions about it, sometimes even during the episode that we have to press pause :P
Heartbreaking, really. There must be a way that they can meet in linear order! I'm a shipper. Can you tell? ;)
