When I said, "You're kidding right?" I was referring to the idea that one would write fic without having played the game. I think it's preposterous that someone would consider themselves part of a fandom, enough to write fanfiction (which should be filled of character nuances that you can't get unless you play the game, or it should if it's good fic anyway) without having played it. You and I had misplaced object/pronoun confusion, oopsies.
